Our Story

The Rush is family owned and operated by Ron and Cindy Harper, their children: Ashley Richards and Tyler Harper, and their families.

The Harper Family has been doing business in Greeley and Evans for forty years. Beginning with Harper Mechanical Inc in 1983, which was founded by George and Donna Harper, who ran the company until George's passing in 2007. That same year, Ron Harper, George's son and Ron's wife Cindy, took over to continue his vision.

Together Ron and Cindy have seven grandkids aged sixteen to four; finding somewhere close to meet up and spend time together as a family was the one thing the communities of Greeley and Evans needed. To celebrate everything from Baby Showers to Weddings, Graduations, Birthday Parties, and more, however, found this area to be short on options.

But more than that, we needed a place as a community to gather as friends and neighbors.

The park has been owned and called many things over the years; however, driving by the abandoned park day after day, the idea, the desire to re-open The Rush Event Center just wouldn't quit.

If you see a need, fill it.

The idea took root and grew into not just a Family Fun Park but also an Event Center, and then a Beer Garden with plans for summer concerts showcasing the incredible talent of our fellow Northern Colorado Residents, food truck events, gaming tournaments, charity events benefitting local organizations and our neighbors in need.

We look forward to laughs shared with old friends, time spent with new friends, and the chance to bring joy to a community!
